KORKMAZ LIMITED GUARANTEE COOKWARE/BAKEWARE/PRESSURE COOKERS
The KORKMAZ guarantee*

KORKMAZ frying pans and saucepan, kitchen utensils and pressure cookers along with their accessories are guaranteed by Korkmaz against any material or manufacturing defect, for 2 years from the date of purchase or delivery date, in the country of purchase. In the event of a problem, the user must contact KORKMAZ Customer Services.

Once the product has been received and the guarantee and defect have been confirmed, a new product or equivalent will be sent in exchange, or a repair will be carried out. In case the product fails within the warranty period, the repair period is minimum 60 working days. Under the terms of this guarantee KORKMAZ has no further obligations other than to replace a faulty product. KORKMAZ shall not be obliged to replace any product which is not accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.

Exclusions

This commercial guarantee does not cover damage arising from shocks, improper use, failure to follow the instructions for use and maintenance, or as a result of an unauthorised modification or repair. It also does not include normal product wear and tear, nor the following cases:

  • overheating, prolonged exposure to the heat from a flame or when empty
  • stains, discoloration or scratches on the inside or outside
  • any accident caused by fire, flood, etc…
  • professional use or in the workplace
  • products knocked or dropped
  • damage from thermal shocks
  • regular replacement of consumable parts (product handle, batteries ...)
  • any glass or porcelain ware in the product
  • dust or insects getting inside the product

Details of the non-stick cookware guarantee

The non-stick coating is also guaranteed for 2 years against blistering and peeling. This guarantee does not cover sticking or damage caused by incorrect use nor in the cases as listed above. KORKMAZ guarantees that the non-stick coating complies with regulations covering materials in contact with food.

Additional Stainless Steel guarantee

KORKMAZ Products in the Steel Pots, Teapots and Coffee Pot categories are guaranteed for 4 years from the date of purchase or delivery date, against any faulty materials or workmanship related to the stainless-steel material provided the product is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended product instructions. This guarantee does not include any damage due to inappropriate use or resulting from knocks, falls, yellowing and blueing, or in other exclusion cases listed above in the KORKMAZ guarantee.

Details of the Pressure Cooker guarantee

KORKMAZ pressure cookers have a 2-year guarantee from the date of purchase or delivery date, against any faulty materials or workmanship related to the pot or any premature damage of the metal base provided the product is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended product instructions.

This guarantee does not include any damage due to inappropriate use or resulting from knocks, falls or by placing the product in the oven.

It should be noted that the normal life of the gasket, pressure control, valves, handles or locking indicator seal is limited. These parts are excluded from this 2-year guarantee and will require periodic renewal. Accessories such as the basket, trivet, timer (where applicable) and steam plate are guaranteed for 2 years only.

Korkmaz Limited guarantee for Kitchen utensils, Drink conservation and Tableware

The KORKMAZ Guarantee*

Korkmaz guarantees its original accessories, spare parts and utensils against any manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship for 2 years, starting from the initial date of purchase or delivery date.

This commercial manufacturer’s guarantee covers all costs related to restoring the proven defective product so that it conforms to its original specifications, through the repair or replacement of any defective part and the necessary labour. At KORKMAZ choice, a replacement product may be provided instead of repairing a defective product. KORKMAZ sole obligation and your exclusive resolution under this guarantee are limited to such repair or replacement.

Details of the Kitchenware guarantee

Graters, Kitchen Knives, Service Tools, Strainers and Storage Containers have a 2-year guarantee from the date of purchase or delivery date.

Details of the Tableware guarantee

Dinnerware, Breakfast Sets, Tea Coffee Sets, Fork, Spoon, Knife Set, Tray, Thermo mugs, Thermo jugs and Thermo flasks have a 2-year guarantee from the date of purchase or delivery date.

Conditions & Exclusions

KORKMAZ shall not be obliged to repair or replace any product which is not accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.

After calling the appropriate KORKMAZ Consumer Contact Centre and obtaining an approval for return, the product must be adequately packaged and returned, by recorded delivery (or equivalent method of postage), to KORKMAZ. Following confirmation of the defective product, KORKMAZ will either send back a repaired product or a new one. Non defective parts will be sent back to the claimant at his request and at his cost.

This commercial guarantee applies only for products purchased and used for domestic purposes and will not cover any damage which occurs as a result of misuse, negligence, failure to follow KORKMAZ instructions, or a modification or unauthorised repair of the product, faulty packaging by the owner or mishandling by any carrier.

It also does not cover normal wear and tear, maintenance or replacement of consumable parts, or the following:

  • using the wrong type of water or consumable
  • damages or poor results specifically due to wrong voltage or frequency as stamped on the product ID or specification
  • scaling (any de-scaling must be carried out according to the instructions for use)
  • accidents including fire, flood, thunderbolt etc
  • mechanical damages, overloading
  • damage to any glass or porcelain ware in the product
  • professional or commercial use
  • stains, discolouration, colouring of the plastic with some age, or scratches
  • use in an oven (except products specifically designed for this)
  • if the product is knocked or dropped
  • burns caused by exposure to heat or flame
  • cleaning in a dishwasher (except products specifically designed for this)
  • damage from thermal shocks
